Stillness was inspired by the endless horizon of the Mediterranean, which is why I chose this long panoramic canvas. I wanted to capture that feeling of standing by the sea, where your eyes can wander across the water without ever reaching the end.
Painted with oils, acrylics and subtle iridescent pigments, the surface catches the light in much the same way as the sea itself. As the light changes throughout the day, the painting gently shimmers, echoing those peaceful evenings when the last light dances across the water.
I love the contrast between the crisp vertical lines of the sailing masts and the softness of the sea and sky. For me, it's a reminder that even in stillness, there is quiet movement, light and life.

This original painting can be collected directly from my studio or shipped throughout Spain and internationally. Owing to its panoramic size, the canvas will be carefully removed from the stretcher bars and rolled for transport. It can then be professionally re-stretched or framed on arrival, and I'm always happy to recommend a trusted local framer if needed.
